CCTV footage shows a boy riding his bicycle home from school when he failed to notice an oncoming lorry in Khammam, Telangana, on January 30.
The child can be seen changing lanes just as the truck manoeuvred.
Upon seeing this, the quick-thinking driver swerved into another lane, preventing a gruesome collision with the schoolboy.
Local media reported that the boy did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
