This is the adorable moment a cat joined a mother trying to help her baby fall asleep by playing with a balloon.
CCTV footage shows the mum singing a lullaby while making the red inflatable bounce back and forth to entertain her toddler on the bed in Ningxia, China.
Moments later, the curious orange feline hopped onto the foam mattress and approached the woman on September 19.
It then swatted and pawed at the floating toy alongside the baby, prompting the mother to giggle at its playful behaviour.
