This is the shocking moment a truck's wheel exploded and flew through the air, narrowly missing a bystander.
CCTV footage shows the tyre of a passing eight-wheeler bursting and sending heavy debris towards a grandfather outside his house in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on October 9.
The flying metal missed the elderly man by just a step as he was carrying a panel to the back of his car.
The blast filled the road with dust, and the frightened man tried to run before another piece of debris crashed in front of him.
He then stayed beside his vehicle, using the panel as a shield until the situation calmed down.
