This is the astonishing moment a runaway deer vaulted over a man's head while trying to escape.
CCTV footage shows the local chasing the hoofed creature through a cornfield in Liaoning, China, on September 25.
The deer can be seen sprinting towards the resident after failing to find a way out of the field.
It then suddenly leapt over the lad, who ducked in fear of being struck by the animal.
He fell to the ground as the startled deer bounded away into the distance.
Onlooker Mr Liu said: 'The deer might have wandered into the cornfield by mistake while searching for its way back to the forest.'
