This is the heart-stopping moment bystanders leapt out of the way of an out-of-control lorry as it crashed into a cafe in India.
CCTV footage shows a group of men chatting on the roadside in Rajsamand district, Rajasthan, on Wednesday.
Suddenly, a speeding trailer ploughed through a road divider and veered into the service lane, crashing into the cafe as people ran away just seconds before it hit the tea stall.
Reports said two young men were injured in the incident. They were later released from the hospital.
The force of the impact scattered goods across the road and caused visible damage to the stall's roof.
Locals rushed to assist the injured before police arrived at the scene. The truck was later removed with the help of a crane.
India has one of the highest rates of road accidents in the world, with thousands of fatalities and injuries reported each year.
The startling bad track record is blamed on unsafe road conditions, reckless driving, inadequate enforcement of traffic laws, and a lack of awareness about road safety.
