A woman ducked just in time as a tree fell on her motorised trike.
Ms Zhang was about to ride her tricycle when the tree snapped in half and plunged onto the vehicle in Anhui Province, China.
CCTV footage shows her sitting on the electric three-wheeler on November 1.
She lunged forward, bending her body towards the handlebars upon seeing the tree crashing down on her.
Elderly locals nearby then rushed to help her and remove the trunk from the tricycle.
Local media reported that Ms Zhang suffered a minor back strain and her trike was damaged.
She said: 'My mind went blank at the time and I was too frightened to move. I am still shaken by the experience.'
