This is the shocking moment a huge structure at the dismantled Snezhkom ski complex collapses, sending debris flying across a car park and damaging more than 100 vehicles.
Footage shows part of a large concrete column crashing down during demolition works and exploding into fragments that scatter across the road and nearby parking area in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, Russia.
Further images show vehicles apparently damaged in the incident on November 11.
Local media reported that around 145 vehicles were damaged when debris from the fallen structure struck the surrounding area.
Officials from the Moscow Region's Health Ministry said three people were injured when the support column collapsed onto the roadway.
The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a case under the article Violation of safety rules during construction or other work.
An emergency services representative told local media that the collapse may have been caused by a breach of safety protocols during high-altitude work.
In December 2024, a worker was killed at the same site when a metal beam fell on him.
The Snezhkom ski complex was built in 2008 by the SU-155 Group.
In 2015, the company encountered financial difficulties that led to the bankruptcy of all its structures, including the Snezhkom complex.
The largest creditor, Bank Saint Petersburg, later transferred its rights to R1-Legal in 2021.
In 2023, authorities in the Moscow Region decided to demolish the structure after it was declared unsafe.
