This is the shocking moment a car ploughed into a motorcyclist who had stopped to give way to an ambulance on a busy road.
Footage shows the ambulance making its way along the street before easing to a halt as its crew waited for a gap to cross oncoming traffic in Istanbul, Turkey.
Approaching from the opposite direction, a motorcyclist slowed and came to a stop to let the emergency vehicle pass in the Uskudar neighbourhood.
But as the rider paused, a reckless car driver behind failed to stop in time and slammed into the motorcycle, knocking the rider to the ground.
The motorcyclist was then seen lying on the road as the impact brought traffic momentarily to a standstill.
Within seconds, medical staff from the ambulance rushed out and surrounded the fallen rider, providing immediate assistance.
They treated the motorcyclist at the scene, and reports later confirmed the rider escaped with only light injuries and was in good health despite the scare on November 14.
