A suspected drug trafficker found his escape cut short when a pit bull dog mauled him while he was attempting to flee cops.
Dramatic aerial footage shows the suspect scrambling across walls and rooftops before leaping into the compound, just next to a house where another officer was apprehending his alleged companion on November 28.
The animal can be seen assaulting him, biting his ankles to pull him down as he grasped the wall, trying to climb to safety in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
One of the cops clambered along the wall where the man had fled. The officer jumped into the garden as the pit bull and a small dog were seen continuing to attack the suspect.
The officer then moved in to restrain him and stop the canine from attacking, before helping the man climb to safety.
Three police officers then restrained the suspect and arrested him.
