This is the dramatic moment a police patrol car dodged three loose tyres flying from a truck in Oklahoma.
Troopers were driving along US-69 in Pittsburg County on November 18 when a commercial vehicle carrying a cargo of loose wheels lost part of the haul.
Footage shows the rubber wheels bouncing over the barrier wall, narrowly missing an Oklahoma Highway Patrol unit around 7:30 am.
The driver pulled over and was identified as Kutmanali Bekbolot, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan.
Police revealed that Kutmanali had been residing in New York, where he obtained a commercial driver's license.
Officers then questioned his immigration status, and after consulting with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), it was determined that he lacked legal status to be in the United States.
Kutmanali was arrested and transferred to ICE custody, later admitting that he had entered the US through Mexico.
Authorities said in a statement: 'This incident underscores the importance of our partnership with ICE. Individuals without legal status holding a commercial driver's license are not meeting the same safety standards as legal, professional drivers, and that concerns us greatly.
'Our partnership with ICE allows troopers to take every necessary step to address anything that threatens the safety of Oklahomans. Thankfully, this incident only caused damage to an OHP unit, but as we have seen in the past, loose tires can cost lives.'
