This is the heart-stopping moment a motorcyclist collides with a truck at a junction and survives with minor injuries in the Philippines.
CCTV footage shows the rider crashing into the lorry as it entered the intersection in La Loma, Quezon City, on December 9.
The motorcyclist and his pillion passenger were thrown to the ground at the crossing of Mariveles and Calamba streets in Salvacion village.
Village chief Sarah Bernardino, who is also a nurse, responded to the scene.
She told local media: 'When I arrived, there were two injured people - one lying down and one sitting. The person sitting had a wound on the right side of the forehead, while the one lying down was complaining of pain in the left arm.'
Both victims were taken to the hospital, while the truck driver was brought to the police station for investigation.
Authorities said the inquiry is ongoing and urged motorists to follow road signs, slow down at junctions, and stay alert to avoid similar accidents.
