A mysterious cone-shaped light baffled villagers as it beamed across the sky over northern Thailand.
Footage shows the strange phenomenon illuminating the pitch-black sky in Phayao province, at around 5 am local time on December 15.
Residents said the pale light was visible for several minutes before gradually disappearing. They added that there were no sounds, vibrations, or explosions heard during the incident.
Onlooker Phonlawat Kannika said: 'I noticed the light while doing my morning chores. I was baffled and didn't know what it was, so I decided to film it.'
Local authorities have not yet clarified the source of the light.
