Mercedes Sadie Booth attempted to perform the backward somersault using the pink air roller for support at her home in California.
Footage shows Mercedes standing behind the barrel before jumping up and swinging her arms overhead to gain momentum on December 25.
However, she landed flat on her back on the inflatable and bounced off, tumbling onto the floor.
The impact knocked her long black wig off.
