This is the dramatic moment snow plummeted from a roof, narrowly missing a driver visiting a car repair shop.
CCTV footage shows the man in a black winter jacket standing outside the workshop as chunks of hardened snow drop to the ground in Henan, China.
Two women sheltering in the garage are seen standing still while the man hurriedly walks toward his black sedan on January 21.
Moments later, the accumulated snow, which had compacted into heavy, brick-like blocks, rapidly plummeted even more onto the driveway, sending a thick mist of powder billowing into the air.
The startled pair inside the building ran further into the workshop for safety, while the car owner quickly reversed and drove out of the parking area just as snow fell inches away from his vehicle.
No one was injured in the incident.
China's winters, lasting from late November to March, are notoriously harsh, characterised by strong winds, dry air, and sporadic frost and snowfall.
