This is the dramatic moment a shopkeeper narrowly avoided being buried by snow falling from a roof in China.
CCTV footage shows the worker sweeping accumulated powder from the parking spaces in front of the store when a small slab of snow hit his back in Anhui on January 23.
The impact caused him to stop in shock and look up, only to discover that large blocks of snow were about to collapse from above.
He can be seen running to safety at the roadside and hugging a family member who was accompanying him, as they watch the snow plunge rapidly to the ground.
The snow piled thickly on the ground, completely covering the exact spot where he had been standing moments earlier.
No one was injured in the incident.
On January 21, a shelf of snow plummeted from a roof, narrowly missing a driver visiting a car repair shop in Henan Province.
China's winters, lasting from late November to March, are notoriously harsh, characterised by strong winds, dry air, and sporadic frost and snowfall.
