This is the shocking moment a pair of stray bulls knocked an elderly man over who was sitting outside a shop.
CCTV footage shows the pensioner carrying a monoblock chair to find a place to sit in front of the store in Gujarat, India.
Once he sat with one leg over another, a white bull approached, prompting him to use his cane to shoo it away on December 25.
Moments later, two fighting bulls charged in his direction, ramming him to the ground.
Gas cylinder tanks stacked nearby toppled on impact.
Neighbours rushed to help the senior citizen to his feet and check if he was okay.
The OAP reportedly sustained minor injuries from the encounter.
India has hundreds of thousands of cows roaming its streets.
It is partly due to devout locals who follow Hindu customs, with cows regarded as sacred animals that cannot be eaten or slaughtered once they have stopped producing milk. The majority of states ban the sale or slaughter of cows.
Instead of dealing with the economic burden of keeping their spent cattle, many farmers let the beasts roam the streets - leading to chaos when the animals become agitated and turn their fury on humans.
