説明
This is the moment a man suddenly drops into an ice-fishing hole at a winter angling base, and has to be hauled out by quick-thinking bystanders.
The scare happened in Shenyang, a major city in China’s northeastern Liaoning province.
The CCTV cameras captured the man walking across the frozen lake near rows of anglers’ tents when the cover over an ice hole gave way beneath his feet.
The man, identified only as Mr Zhang, plunged straight down into the opening as people nearby shouted and rushed over.
Mr Zhang later said the water below was around 1.6 metres (5.2 feet) deep, and that several people immediately grabbed him and dragged him back onto the ice.
Seconds after being pulled free, the drenched man is seen scrambling to his feet and rushing away as fast as he can in his soaked clothes, apparently desperate to get somewhere warm.
He said he was not seriously hurt and was later found to be in good health, despite the freezing fall.
Afterwards, he said warning signs were put up around the area to remind anglers and visitors to watch their step around drilled fishing holes.
