The bizarre video shows a stray tyre that caught fire as it rolled down the street crashing into a paint store on the side of the road.
Surveillance camera footage from the city of Guilin in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China showed the loose wheel rolling down the road on January 17.
The stray tyre can then be seen catching fire and crashing straight into a paint store after veering to the right, as the stunned owner rushed to take it out.
In the recording, he can be seen bringing the burning tyre outside with his bare hands and taking a fire extinguisher to control the fire.
Chinese media revealed that the tyre fell off a passing lorry in the middle of the road.
The store's owner said that the lorry driver refused his compensation request, but that the incident was reported to the insurance company.
