A group of women has been charged with theft for allegedly stealing clothes from a garment store in Andhra Pradesh, India.
CCTV footage from August 1 shows at least five women entering the store and pretending to browse through the clothes on display.
Three women allegedly interacted with the store's staff to create a distraction. One woman was even captured on camera actively engaging the salesperson by requesting more clothes to see, while the others discreetly hid garments under their sarees.
All five women left the store together, and the staff remained unaware of the crime that had just happened.
Upon discovering the missing items during an inventory check, the shopkeeper promptly filed a complaint with the local police.
The authorities are now working to identify the suspects by analyzing the footage and continuing investigating the case.
