This is the shocking moment a woman was dragged along a street in a gold chain snatching incident in India.
Manjula and her husband were riding a motorcycle when two men drove by and yanked the jewellery around her neck in Madurai City, Tamil Nadu state, at around 7:40 pm on October 20.
CCTV footage shows how the hapless woman was raked several feet across the pavement as the suspects tried to escape with the gold accessory.
The chain eventually snapped in half and the alleged thieves were able to escape with part of it.
Police said they were investigating the incident.
