This is the dramatic moment police officers dodge an out-of-control car hurtling at them in Nebraska.
Footage shows two cops standing outside separate vehicles on I-80 just west of Lincoln on Thursday.
Moments later, a sliding sedan sped towards the pair as icy conditions triggered a series of crashes across the region.
No injuries were reported, but the car struck a white vehicle near the officers.
A spokesman for the Nebraska State Patrol said: 'Two of our troopers and the people they were helping were inches away from being hit by an out-of-control vehicle.
'There was only light snow, yet numerous slide-offs. Slow down. Lives are depending on it.'
